Hi my name is Amy and I was told about this Board on Kyle Jennings board. I loved Josh on American Idol and was excited to find this forum. I married a former Marine who is now in the National Guard and in Iraq. Guess that's part of the reason I like Josh - - - and of course because of his amazing voice!!!!

Welcome Amy, I was a Marines wife also and have a son that is in Mississippi now and will be going to Iraq soon. We all need to support any branch of the military and keep them in our prays. Glad you like Josh too. I just loved him on AI and really loved Clay too. They both had good voices and morals that I appreciate and are someone that young people can look up too.

And freda - sorry to hear your son is going over - I am VERY lonley and worried but that's what we military wifes/famlies sign up for too

thanks Amy for your prayers and concerns. It will be hard on his wife and 1 year old son but the time will pass fast and he will be home again soon. You live where Clay Aiken is from. I guess you hear a lot about him there. I love his music and have been to 2 concerts of his and will go again in August. Hope you find comfort in this board and won't be so lonely. I know how that is as my 1st husband went to Vietnam and I had 2 small sons and another on the way but we got a lot of support from an Overseans Wives group that met once a month and we shared stories and families. Keep your chin up.
