Robin,
Thanks so much for the encouragment! I had Josh in mind to sing this song, but I am sure he is too busy right now to even know about it. I live in Texas and belong to a couple of Songwriting/Recording groups so I don't think it will be a problem to record it. My mentor is trying to get me to record it myself, but I don't have much confidence in my own voice. lol
I think it would be better sung by a Marine. I enjoy writiing songs much better than singing them lol Will keep you posted on when it will be available.

Caitlin and Robin,
As promised would let you know of status of these lyrics and when you could get them. Didn't get a response from Josh (sniff sniff...) But, I
met a DJ at a family jam session last night. He said if I get this on CD he will play it on his radio station. It is next to FT Hood. My Son will sure be surprised to hear his old Mom on the Radio lol. So excited just had to let you know!

| [/i]Marine Mom, I just wanted to write and tell you that your words are very moving. My husband is over in Iraq right now, and I am home with two young boys. I posted another comment thanking Josh for releasing the beautiful song The Other Little Soldier (which in my opinion will be a guaranteed smash...his next #1 hit ). And I believe that if he gets the opportunity to cut your song, and release it, it would be another smash hit to add to his accomplishments. The lyrics are so powerful that they grasp your soul and pull you in. I have my yellow ribbons and my flags flying high in the front yard. And if my husband does get to return in November, they will remain there until all our men and women return. God bless you and your family and please thank your son and let him know that this country is a better place because of soldiers like him who are willing to put their lives on the line every day to protect the honor and glory of this great country. OHHHHH THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!! Hey if it does happen.. need to send me a copy so I can get it to our station. We are right here with all the bases and our station would gladly play something like that. Cant wait to hear more.
