Hey everyone! Here's a few of my pictures from Cheyenne Frontier Days! Sorry I didn't post them sooner... I have been really busy today
Hope you enjoy! And if you want to check out more of them, be sure to post and I will try to get a link up! I had them all up on a site but it just said that I have "reached my bandwidth" so I had to reupload them onto another site!!

Here's my review of the concert... I forgot to post it earlier
-------------------
Keith came to Kansas City, MO earlier this summer. But, of course, couldn't go to the one 90 miles from my house. Had to go to the one 600 miles away.
But hey, I'm not complainin'. I still saw the sexiest man alive.
WEDNESDAY: The day seemed to drag on forever. I tried to keep myself occupied - I watched some TV, tried to watch a movie, went shopping ... nothing worked. I'M SEEING KEITH TOMORROW!
THURSDAY (concert day): I've waited 199 days for THIS VERY DAY to come and it's FINALLY here. Now, tell me, how am I suppose to keep myself OCCUPIED?
I wanted to go to Frontier Park no later than 4:30 or 4:45 P.M. They let SRO (standing room only) in at 7 P.M. 2 and 1/2 hours... a lot, but not that long. My feet were already killing me, because I went to the fairgrounds Wednesday night and watched Brad Paisley... but hey, this is Keith, I could stick it up and stand it out.
But NOO, couldn't go at 4:30. Of course not. Something came up. Then it was 4:45. Nope, not leaving yet. Then it was 5 -- couldn't go, had to eat. SIX O'CLOCK ROLLS AROUND... we FINALLY get to leave. An hour and a half later... talk about frustrating.
We show up to the park and the line is HUGE. I mean to tell you, I thought we were standing in a line to something else. My entire family was like: "Is THIS the line?" Yes. We even ASKED. My uncle looked at me and went: "Wow... we should have came up here at like... 4:30." ...DUH?
Slowly but surely we are finally allowed into the arena and we find ourselves a spot to stand. They were pretty good! PERFECT view of the stage... until a group of five girls (who were decently tall) with cowboy hats on got in front of us.
How depressing is this? First we show up an hour and a half later than I had hoped and then a bunch of people that I can't see over get in front of us.
I wasn't that worried because Trick Pony wasn't on and over with yet, so I just kind of stood there. I'm not a real "big" Trick Pony fan, anyway.
FINALLY! Trick Pony was done and they are setting up Keith's set. I'm intrigued as I watch them mess with rugs that they place on the stage.
Why, exactly, am I being so intrigued watching them lay the same rugs over and over and OVER again?
They're Keith Urban's rugs, that's why!
After the rugs were in place, the guitar and mic checks were completed, and I had wondered just how much longer I could stand on my feet before I passed out... the lights go out, the crowd goes wild, and suddenly, I could care less about my feet and hoped I would stand on them another 50 million hours that night.
There he was. The man that I listen to daily, dream about nightly, and fantasize about constantly. Keith Urban.
Am I dreaming?
No. He's REALLY up there. I didn't know what to do. Do I yell? Do I scream; do I cry? So, I just did them all.
With each song I became more and more grateful for the opportunity to be there, and I got more and more happy to be able to have the opportunity to see him. I've waited for this day with a ticket for 199 days, but I've waited for this day, period, for over two years.
"I like to call this my 'White Trash Trailor Park Love Song'!" as Homespun Love starts to play.
Cute.
The concert gets nothing but better as it progresses, and nothing could have made it any better than it was, except if he would have sang more songs.
The megatron starts to show the crowd so I hold up my sign - "I CAME 600 MILES TO SEE KEITH URBAN". Of course it didn't make it up on the megatron. It shows the crowd again - no such luck. Again... nope. Again... no. ...again? Yes. It's up there! I get hysterical.
The time starts to get late and the concert starts to wind down. Keith looks at the crowd and suggests we take a moment to think of everyone fighting for our country, and I can't help but count a few more blessings. He sings "You're Not Alone Tonight," and I can't help but get tears in my eyes.
I truly believe you don't respect an artist FULLY until you have seen them live. That changes everything, I do truly believe. My dad, who joked before the concert about selling his ticket, said that that VERY Keith Urban concert was the "best concert he had ever been to," and that HIS BAND "was the best band I've EVER heard live."
I maybe didn't get a Meet & Greet, and I maybe didn't have front row. But I was there, I was happy, and I couldn't respect him more than I do now. So to everyone that made that night possible... Thank You.
