Project Ideas

Well we are starting to wrap up yet another project for Josh. I'm hoping the scrapbook project will turn out well.

So far we've done a few different projects for Josh and family.
To name a few that we did:
~ the birthday book full of fan letters from all of you
~ Thanksgiving donations to St. Judes in Josh's honor
~ Homemade Christmas ornaments
~ Congrats to him on his #1 hit with Nothing to Lose
~ Award given to him by the Forum family
~ Baby gifts to him and Ann to welcome Landon
~ Scrapbook Pages of his first year touring


I didn't always come up with the ideas, but I helped organize each of them in one way or another.

Now I'd like to get more input on if there are other things you would like to do for Josh!! So please post your ideas here and if it turns out that everyone is for it, I'll help out again to get another project on the way with you!! Let me say that anyone who comes up with the idea always gets the mention for the idea, I never take the credit...I just help organize it that's all.

I would like to do the scrapbook project again! I think it is a great keepsake for an artist. We just had doubles of the concert pictures made when we had them developed, so we were all ready to go after buying a few scrapbooking supplies. We took pictures of our pages, so we are going to make the same ones for ourselves when we get time.

What about a quilt? I can sew and quilt it if everyone did like a 4x4 square with something? on it. I say 4x4 because with everyone's contribution, we would have like a queen size quilt. Thoughts?

I had an idea to buy Josh a really nice shirt.. I posted about it awhile ago.. a few people really liked the idea. They are these really nice shirts.. they kinda look like ones the guys in Rascal Flatts wear. They are expensive but if everyone chips in we could do it. Maybe for his birthday in Oct. or Christmas? I'll find the link to them....

That's cool too! I ahve already started a quilt for Josh (and family). It's pretty neat already. I may need so me help though on dates. I have a quare with the children's names and wanted to add their birthday. I have the baby's but not Briana's. Maybe someone could PM that to me if they know it. I also was hoping someone might have Josh & Ann's anniversary and they could PM it too. I will post pics of my individual quilt when I get done.
Will just mentioning his family get this post deleted? I hope not, it's for a gift. HEY! STAY WITH ME is on the radio right now!

1) If the quilt idea goes, local embroidery shops do great custom designs. They can also be done with paints, fabric pens,etc....

2) The shirts are too cool. Do you know prices? Maybe we could do a couple shirts if enough people pitch in....

3) If enough people like, maybe we can do both, one shorter term project (i.e shirts for Josh's bday) and then one longer term (i.e. the quilt for CHristmas or some other time). I totally am cool with either one. If the quilt does not go, no biggy, just throwin ideas out there.

Ok, last post in a row. I found the Entertainer and The Legend for $70 a piece, so we can assume they will be around that price.
Hey! Nothin To Lose is on now. Maybe if I keep postin, they'll keep playin Josh (2nd time today) or maybe I'm postin too much!

I think that both ideas sound great. I would be willing to pitch in for the shirt and then I am not all that creative but I would love to do a piece for the quilt. I will keep watching to see what is decided.

Yeah.. the shirts are very expensive between $60-$80 usually, that's why we would need alot of people to participate. They are VERY nice shirts though, totally worth the price.

im liking the ideas. I cant embroider but i know people that can BUT i am more leaning towards the shirt idea. I can get money if i dont tell muh mom i have it lol.

How much are we looking to give for each person. Well i guess first we should know how many people are in on this.

ok i know yall already did letters BUT i was thinking maybeh letters for mandon and briana. Ann and josh could put the letters away until they are old enough to read them. My cousin said sumtin bout doin this for muh nephew the other day so i guess its her idea.

OH YEAH dont forget yall we also done that fan ad for him, which he happened to be very greatful for
