Poor Trace had to have emergency surgery yesterday for an abdominal infection. Hope he is doing better. Get well soon, Trace! <3333
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Country singer Trace Adkins underwent emergency surgery for an abdominal infection Friday after a concert in Morton, Minn., his publicist said.
Adkins, 43, had been experiencing stomach pain for two days and went to a hospital for treatment before heading to the next venue, publicist Schatzi Hageman said Saturday.
Doctors say the procedure was a success and he's expected to make a full recovery, Hageman said.
The singer has canceled concerts in Spencer, Iowa; Hutchison, Kan.; Ashland, Ohio; and Centerville, Mich.
A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Adkins has several hits including "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," "Chrome" and "Then They Do." His latest CD is called "Songs About Me."

Aw that's a bummer! He was on the CMT Top 100 Duets Concert tonight (obviously pre-recorded!!) and he was awesome. He's Sooooo cute!
