i just talked to the recruiter about 5 minutes ago in lunch. he told me i can't join cause i have asthma, even though it's a mild case. so, i guess i'll be going to college at utk. if i get accepted. but i can't apply there just yet. in another year. ok, well, that's my dissapointing news.

awwww thats too bad sryyss.
My colonal at school has athsma and he was in teh service for 24 years. Maybeh he just got it a few years ago or sumtin

That's really unfair. I'm sorry to hear that; the Marines are a VERY strict organization, though, and they expect a lot, so that's probably why.
