Cancelled Concerts

If a concert is cancelled, why is it not posted as such on the main page calendar? This would make it a lot easier for the fans. The Oct. 28 concert in Stuart, FL was cancelled, but we as fans had to find this out ourselves. I am sure some fans will still show up at this concert if they are traveling from a distance, because the venue's website still has it advertised. Not their fault as this is due to a hurricane and they are without electric. It has been our practice to call the venue the day before the concert to make sure the concert is still on, but I am sure not everyone does this.

We would have gone across state if Tobi and Mom hadn't checked into the concert. Mom always calls to make sure events are still on before we go any distance.

I just traveled 2 hours this evening to see Josh at the Volusia County Fair and this concert was also canceled. We had no idea until we go to the gate. We fought traffic and lines. They say his bus broke down. I do agree they should post something for the fans.

Well I can tell from reading the last post that Josh did try his best to make it. The bus broke down the first time and Josh or someone called in and said he would be late, then it broke down agin. Because it broke down twice that shows he made a big effert to get there, they must have really been putting that bus through some stress to get to that concert. Anyhow this all being said and everything lets just hope that Josh got plenty to eat while he was stranded, I just hope there was a KFC around where he got starnded, you know he loves KFC.

I actually started this thread for concerts that were known to be cancelled days before the concert date, not ones that get cancelled for an unforeseeable reason.

My husband and I fought traffic and stood in line for hours before the fair personnel Josh's bus had broken down for a 3rd time and he was still over 200 miles away. We understand unforseeable problems but the fans should still have an opportunity to see him, there were a lot of people that only went to the fair to see Josh. Is there anyway for him to do a replacement concert in Volusia county?

In that case I would not count on it. He might do something in your area, I would keep checking into this forum and maybe something will come up about it.

You know whats funny about Josh? He seems to do a lot of showes at fairs, he must love fairs. Thats what I love about him. I think its a reflection on his personality don't you think?

All up and comers tour the fair circuit. It is the best way to increase your fan base and see a lot of your current fans. The only other way is to be an opening act for a major tour. Hopefully soon he will latch onto a big name tour. That would be cool!
