I wanted to come in here and offer some profound words of wisdom letting you all know how wonderful you have been and how incredibly blessed I feel to be apart of this Forum Family. I am completely blank - no words that I can offer even come close.

Instead I am going to share this beautiful poem I found and humbly ask that as each one of us sit down to eat on Thursday we kindly remember to add Josh & Family; Members of Team Gracin - past and present & their families; our Men & Women bravely serving our country & their families; and your Forum Family members to your prayers.

Thanksgiving Reflections 2003

Are there many things we take for granted
without pause as we rush through our days?
Might we slow down for just a few seconds
as small blessings we quickly appraise.

Could we take a hot shower this morning,
brush our teeth at a porcelain stand?
Everyday acts, but seeming a luxury
to soldiers gritty with alien sand.

We could kiss our sweetheart and share a hug,
a common embrace of affection
unless you�re alone, far away from home,
danger lurking in each direction.

Later we�ll dine with dear family and friends
while defenders send love from afar.
Unselfishly, they wish us enjoyment -
a freedom celebration unmarred.

In a foreign land our soldiers struggle;
to be with us how strongly they yearn.
Please remember them this Thanksgiving Day
and say a prayer for their quick return.

Thank you Tobi there are many days loneliness comes and this is where I go for a safe place. Too bad we don't all live near each other. I agree many soldiers are serving and my nephew-in-law was lucky to come home safe. Our county is having a welcom home celebration for the soldiers in our town next Tues I'm surprised they didn't ask Josh to come sing but I figure he's visiting family. I thank you all for your unconditional friendship.

Thank you for sharing that poem. My husband missed Thanksgiving last year because he was in Iraq. I pray for our troops safety.

I haven't been a member long and I don't get a chance to post that often, but I do enjoy it here! So to my new forum family and to Josh and his family I wish everyone a Happy Thankgiving. Have fun, eat, and be safe!

that is a very sweet pome tobi, happy thanksgiving!! we all do have a lot to be thankful for.
i dont think my holiday is going to be very fat free, me and my mom made 3 apple pies today bought 2 cartons of icecream and we also made a cake and 16 brownies omj what are we going to do with all this food. i dont know what my mom is going to do with but me and my dad are going to eat it lol food i love food!!!!!!!!
