Hey Everyone!!

Hi Forum Family!

You may have all noticed that my posting has gone down a bit and I'm not "around" as much as I use to be. I do have to admit I miss the 'old' forum family, but alot is going on here at my end.

The saying is that the first step in life is admitting there is a problem in the first place, right?!?! Well I'm admitting to you all now that I have a problem----you see I've come to realize that I'm in a serious depression. Without going to much into my personal life---although some of you already know some of the situation, but I've been fighting this depression on and off for awhile now. The forum use to be my "haven" and place to come to, to like forget about it all. But lately I just find myself not caring about much anymore. Between personal life, stress, work, my mom's upcoming surgery, etc etc. It just doesn't seem like I can think straight anymore.

I'm telling you all this for a couple reasons, #1 because I truly have made some wonderful friends on here, #2 I want you all to know the real reason why I'm not "around" as much anymore, and #3 cause I know admitting there is a problem will help me have to deal with it and get over it.

I'm still a huge Josh fan of coarse and still adore him and his crew---I'm sure they all know that I love them and respect them all to death!!! Also, I will still continue to make sure that Josh and crew GET that respect they deserve!! I will also continue to make sure the forum family gets the respect they deserve too. So in other words I'll always be "around"---there's no getting rid of me, LOL. But I may not be seen as much.


Also, any prayers or kind thoughts you can all send out would be appreciated---my mom is having her surgery on her thyroid gland next month and she has a bad heart so any surgery is stress on her, so I'm concerned about that on top of everything else. When it rain it pours, doesn't it?!?!

I'm so sorry that you are feeling depressed. I miss seeing your posts on the forum, and I know a lot of other people do, too. Please know that I and the rest of the forum family are here if you need us. I will pray for your mom and also for you. I hope you feel better soon. God bless-

hey Becky...

You have some idea how the past year has been for me so I do really understand. Wish you all the best and hang in there... I can tell you first hand it takes time but keep looking because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel just keep moving forward and you'll find it.

Becky I want to thank you for the Christmas card and let you know it's ok depression is something I have lived with my whole life my mom has been manic depressive since before I was born and getting help now is best. I suffer from severe panic attacks and actually have an appt Friday with my dr. I feel a little like you do. I think it's just something passed on in my case. I'll remember you in my prayers and somehow know you aren't alone. The forum also became a "haven" and when Jason-Eric became so ill was and is still my haven. (He's doing ok right now sorry ya'll haven't posted will update after his appt Friday too). You can have the best family in the world and you feel like they can't possibly understand why you feel so awful and I have the best husband in the world and just scream at him. I hope you get the help you need if you take meds it takes time to get the right ones. Some work some don't I've been on several. It affects everything you do and remember we are here for you if you need us! Love & God Bless Kimmy
